Customers rave about the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, accessing the restaurant's stunning views while enjoying their meals under the open sky. Ideal for any occasion, Sierra shines as both a date night destination and a venue for celebrations, confidently catering to the needs of its guests.
The menu at Sierra boasts a delightful array of dishes, showcasing a blend of American flavors with a unique twist. I couldn't help but be drawn to the talented reviews from fellow diners. Caitlin Monaghan's rave about the perfectly cooked halibut, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and crisp veggies, is merely a taste of what this restaurant has to offer. Meanwhile, Brittny Lee highlights the renowned mini chili rellenos and expertly wood-fired meats, asserting they've mastered the art of flavor and presentation.
Another standout, as noted by Abigail Ommert, is their exquisite green chili appetizer egg rolls. This dish, along with their spectacular seasonal cocktails, exemplifies Sierra's commitment to creating memorable flavor experiences. And let's not forget the dessert—the strawberry shortcake that Monaghan describes as blissfully light and refreshing, perfect for those summer evenings spent on the spacious patio.
What truly sets Sierra apart is its dedication to exceptional service. Many reviewers emphasize the friendly and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to make each dining experience extraordinary. Susan Lilly Dorene's account of a joyous birthday celebration paints a picture of attention to detail that enhances the overall atmosphere and makes guests feel cherished.

First time to Sierra and it was a hit. We had the halibut, pork chop and strawberry short cake. The pork chop was big enough to share. The halibut was perfectly cook with delicious veggies and the creamiest mashed potatoes. The strawberry shortcake was with a biscuit and a perfect summer dessert to eat on their spacious patio. Sierra has one of the best atmospheres. A great date night spot.
(Please read my "wheelchair accessibility" note below). Separate from that, THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. They do it right. All around. My favorite parts: definitely the green chili appetizer egg rolls (I've made a habit of taking a pint or more to go every time of their green chili. Yum! The lighting superb and hard to find. Food is flawless absolutely delicious everything. One of a kind building/venue and unique architecture. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are just lovely to dine in. Definitely put this on your top 3 "must try Mexican restaurants" list!!! Enjoy
We made a reservation for our Anniversary which is also St Patrick’s Day and had a phenomenal dinner. All of the staff, our server especially, was very friendly, fast, knowledgeable to help us decide what we might like best from the menu and had overall great service all the way around. Our meal was perfect. We see why they are known for their mini chili rellenos and wood fired items! They cooked our steak and shrimp to perfection, our cocktails were superb(the gentleman is 10/10 as is the seasonal peach tea) and their chocolate cake got a 10/10 from my hubby! Thank you for a great atmosphere Sierra!
We Celebrated two family members 75th Birthday and Sierra did an absolutely impeccable job! Their attention to detail made for a joyous wonderful occasion I noticed their acute manner in which they catered to our needs and typically that escapes notice as a person is in the throes of Celebration I would have party after party after party with that marvelous conclusion! They cut and served the cake with sweet hospitable grace!
Visiting from the Chicago area away on a company-paid training in the area, this was our 2nd dinner outing and my favorite of the 3 nights we were in town. Love the aesthetic of this warm rustic ambience with all-around great food, wonderful welcoming service, nice bar area (2 bars) and outdoor seating with a lovely view. It's venues like this that I look forward to when traveling a ways from home and there's nothing that even comes close to this back home in the flatland. If ever in the area again, I most definitely look forward to coming back here and hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).
We have visited Sierra twice now and have had a pleasurable meal both times. The restaurant is perched on a hill and provides nice views of the area. The dinning area is comfortable and large enough so that you do not feel like you are sitting too close to other guests. On the appetizers, we have tried the Ahi Tuna Crisps and the Mini Chile Rellenos. I would recommend both of these options, but the Chile Rellenos are a favorite because they come with a little side of their green chile which I think is pretty delicious. For entree's I have tried the Crispy Diablo Chicken Sandwich and the Louisiana Killer Shrimp. The chicken sandwich was good and the chicken breast was not to thick, creating a good ballance of flavor. The Louisiana Killer Shrimp were also tasty with lots of bold flavors, probably my favorite of the two. Sierra is known for the wood fired grill, but I have not really tried anything that is prepared in that way. I have also had the wedge salad which was delicious and their dressing hit the spot. Our service at Sierra has alway been top notch.
Great place to hang out and unwind. The mini chile rellenos are KILLER. The Halibut with mashed potatoes and asparagus was very very good. And a martini with blue cheese olives really hit the spot. Prices are decent although I thought the Halibut was way overpriced. If you’re staying at the Towne Suites you can walk and then take a trip to Cabela’s. I went 3 days in a row.
meal was on point from drinks through to dessert. service was exceptional, amd the sauces were amazing, not afraid of actually making food with some spice. highly recommend
